Nambe

One of the most notable American artisanal houses in the design field is Nambe.  Established in 1951, Nambe was named after an ancient village not far from Santa Fe.  Using a proprietary alloy, Nambe has for 60 years created functional and beautiful objects which are instantly recognizable for their graceful twists and silhouettes.  While Nambe also works in other mediums such as wood and crystal, the lines of the metal pieces are by far my favorite.  The pieces are at once contemporary and classic; in a word:  timeless.
