Happy New Year

Oh, I hope so.  The last few months have been very, very . . . challenging.  Death, despair, destruction, you name it.  However.  Today is a new day, and that is how we must proceed.  One day at a time.  Not in a bumper sticker way, but in a real, this is the only manner in which we may survive, and hopefully thrive, way. 

So here we are.  And some things that I would love to bring into my new year.
